Do you remember the books that you read in 7th grade -- the ones that were VERY LIGHT romances written for pre- and early-teens? Well, add a vampire (a nice one) and you've got this story. I wish I could give it 2 1/2 stars, 'cause it really wasn't bad. I wasn't going to read any more in the series, but a friend of mine has the whole set (so far), so I will probably try the next one -- before long.
